About a year ago a small community of NBA lovers got together in a Discord group and started asking themselves, “Is it possible to own and operate an NBA franchise?”
During this time, Krause House has collaborated with owners, players, agents, and different projects. Many proposals have been created and voted on in Snapshot, tokens have been distributed to contributors and grants have been given to projects that have helped get Krause House where it is.
Decentralized governance is a term that still has a long way to go. At Krause House we are in a credibility phase. Our short-term goal is to demonstrate to thousands of fans the benefits that Web3 has to offer.

Krause Court NFT
Our love for the game of basketball has led us to create this totally historic collection of NFTs. Our goal was to bring something to the world that neither the world of sports nor the world of web3 had ever seen.
For our friends at Crypto, we wanted to share a new app for Web3: The fractionation of a full-size physical basketball court curated by 25 different artists.
For basketball and sports fanatics, we wanted to not only introduce the concept of fractional team ownership but also create a basketball experience beyond your wildest imagination. And the best part is a frictionless experience powered by web3 technology.
The public mint launch date was June 15, 2022, (prior to the NFT.NYC) and the public mint is still live!
All the artworks were revealed at the tournament. The design was made by world-class artists. In the video below, you can watch a recap of this historical event in New York.
After the tournament, the court was broken down into 1,358 unique NFT artworks. Once minted, you not only receive a digital membership to our community but are also sent the same physical court piece that was randomly minted to you.
A portion of all NFT sales will be donated to a basketball-focused charity chosen by the community, and all artists, players, and partners will receive a % of the court’s total NFT sales for their generous time and love for this project.

What’s next?
At Krause House we are in a credibility stage. It is a mistake to rush and want to meet the objectives too soon. We need to demonstrate success by operating as collective intelligence.

There is no doubt that the market is not going through its best moment, while with Genesis NFT, Krause House raised almost $5m, the NFT Court collection is not yet sold out. However, we think that after this Bear Market only projects that are really useful will survive and Krause House is one of them.
