Teams win.

Partnerships make things happen.

LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman said, “No matter how brilliant your mind or strategy, if you’re playing a solo game, you will always lose out to a team.” That’s an effective business strategy and companies should stretch their thinking when it comes to “team.”

At latakoo, we believe in building strong teams, both inside latakoo and outside of of it. We believe partnerships provide us with another team. Of course, partnerships can get complicated and companies need clearly defined expectations and agreements. But here’s why they work:

  • Collaboration leads to new ideas and better solutions.
  • Teaming up allows both parties to leverage each other’s base.
  • Partnerships give sales teams numerous solutions to offer.

We put energy into becoming an Avid platform certified solution. Avid is an established leader in the media asset management industry. latakoo offers the fastest, easiest and most secure method for delivering files from your location to the cloud and into your chosen asset manager. Our core competencies are in unique, but complementary areas. By collaborating, we solve complex video workflow problems for content providers. Instead of taking multiple steps to get content into Avid Media Composer or Avid Interplay and ISIS, users can drag, drop, click “Start” in the latakoo Flight app and send files right into Avid systems for editing or play out. How about metadata and transcriptions? Producers struggle with ways to get everything all together in one place. Not any more. latakoo and Avid have a solution.

Cultivating a partner means that you get help in spreading the word and strengthening each other’s messages and positioning. Avid Connect is an example of this — an opportunity for Avid Alliance Partners, including latakoo, to show off our services and products to an engaged audience, an audience already built by Avid.

At Avid Connect held on April 22 and 23rd at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, we met face-to-face with dozens of decision makers who are looking to overcome some type of workflow difficulty. Each of them provided us with stories of trying to manage a new media landscape, one that requires them to produce more content in multiple formats for multiple audiences, but often with the same budget. They all live in the Avid ecosystem. And, latakoo moves video (with metadata and transcriptions) in that very ecosystem. Our apps and software are already used by some of the world’s largest broadcasters and many of them use Avid as well. We both widen our reach into that ecosystem with our partnership.

At the latakoo booth at Avid Connect 2017 at the Wynn in Las Vegas, CEO Paul Adrian visits with Avid customers interested in the latakoo integration.

Being Avid platform certified means Avid’s sales team can sell latakoo services. In turn, it bolsters latakoo’s sales efforts into industries that rely on Avid.

We want to continue building on this partnership and others. There will be more products and services that latakoo will integrate with in the future. Integration is not simple. It takes time, energy, resources and focus. But to solve complex problems and to grow business, it’s much better to go at it together, than alone.
