Law School Life & Beyond is one of the only blogs featuring first-person commentary on the Canadian law school experience. Our blog was honoured to receive a 2020 Clawbie (Canadian Law Blogs Award) for one of the best student projects.

We aim to be a unique resource for aspiring law students looking for relatable and accurate information about what life as a law student in Canada is really like.

While there are similar yet limited resources on the topic, we aim to be different. Our mission is to channel our personal experiences as law students to connect and resonate with our readers by providing an easily accessible, transparent, and valuable platform. We strive to do so through our first-person commentary blog, newly launched mentorship program, our social media channels and our leadership series podcast.

Every week, our wide range and ever-growing team of student writers from law schools across Canada provide their own individual and real-life experiences, stories, advice and tips on a variety of law school-related topics such as navigating the LSATs and law school applications, the pros and cons of law school and much more.
