Alpha Features Update

Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to Alpha over the last few weeks. It’s been a fun ride thus far and thanks for coming along.

I’d like to give an update on what’s been going on in Alpha since our launch.

• We’ve added a Discuss section where people can talk about Geek & Sundry and Nerdist Shows as well as Alpha related topics.
• We’ve launched the Alpha Shop where Alpha members can get an additional 10% off their purchase.
• We’ve submitted the iOS app to Apple (We are waiting for approval).
• We’ve added a ton of new shows like Sidekick with Matt Mira, TableTop, GM Tips, Welcome to the Shadow Zone.

Also, on Friday we launched an update to Alpha that includes:

• New “Live Now” bug on live players
• Removed special character requirement for passwords
• New dedicated login page (also now the default if user’s session times out)
• Updated error message letting user know locked accounts will unlock after 30 minutes
• Forgot Password now unlocks user’s account when password is reset
• Resolved issues with signup for existing Geek & Sundry and Nerdist users
• Live players no longer play streams from other stream if current stream is inactive
• Ability to click on VOD player to pause or play
