What is a Nomo Player Token?
Nomo Player Tokens are Dynamic ERC-721 Tokens that represent real world athletes.
How do I mint a Player Token?
Go to LeagueDAO.com, connect your wallet (make sure your are connected via the Polygon Mainnet), select the number of Player Tokens you want to mint and click “Mint”.

Will this drop take place on Polygon?
The Player Tokens Drop and the Nomo League will all take place on the Polygon Mainnet. There is a lot of computation going on behind the scenes of Nomo and it would not be feasible to operate on the Ethereum Mainnet.
How to get DAI on Polygon:

How many of each Athlete are being minted?
During the first season of our Fantasy Football League we minted each player 1:1.
For the Basketball League we are changing things up a bit.
Fantasy Basketball has a limited roster of players. There just aren’t that many players in each basketball team (that’s why NBA draft is only 2 rounds). There are around 450 players who consistently play across all of the active NBA rosters.
To address the limit pool of actual athletes, we are creating multiple versions of each player via a rarity model, which would allow us to increase the total number of Player Tokens to 6000 while still utilizing athletes who consistently play and generate points.
While each Player NFT is still unique, with their own generative artwork, the rarity model will be broken out into 4 tiers, with the top tier including the best players in the league who will have the smallest supply minted. Then the number of copies of each player token will increase with each subsequent tier.
Don’ worry, that doesn’t mean that you will end up drafting a bunch of players that don’t get much playing time or are out due to injury. We have also implemented a free agent system (detailed below) where an additional pool of players will only be made available via secondary sales, not the randomized mint.

Are all basketball players included in the drop?
The Basketball Player Tokens will be minted into two pools:
- Draft/Mint Eligible Players
- Free Agents (players that will only be available via secondary sales)
Draft/Mint Eligible Players
This will be the list of players users will be able to mint at random when we drop the Basketball Player Tokens.
Free Agents
While we want to give everyone a good change at minting players that will play each week, we still see value in minting player tokens of rookies, reserves and free agents. Athletes who might not be on an active roster or everyday starters but offer possible upside in value for those who want to purchase and hold onto them.
We will mint a side pool of these players separately from the main NFT sale. The DAO will then put these “free agents” up for sale on the secondary market i.e. Opensea, where anyone can choose to add them to their roster of player tokens. Instead of including these players in the randomized mint, we will let users decide on their own if its worth picking up one of these players.
I minted a Football Player Token, when will I receive my airdropped Basketball Player?
We will be airdropping 1 free Basketball Player Token to every wallet that holds a Fantasy Football Player Token.
The Airdrop will take place prior to the public sale. You don’t have to claim anything or signup for a list. We will announce when the Airdrop is complete and at that time you will be able to see your basketball player NFT in your wallet.
What happens to the funds collected from the drop?
DAI collected go 80% to the reward pool and 20% to the LeagueDAO treasury. The reward pool is staked to generate yield and that yield is paid out as rewards each week. This ensures that the pool is not depleted at the end of the season and that will only increase by the time next season comes around.
Remember, LeagueDAO = Ultrasound P2E.
What do I do with a player token?
Each Player Token can be used to participate in a LeagueDAO Fantasy Basketball League. You can stake your player tokens in the LeagueDAO dApp and enter the Player Token into the weekly Fantasy Pool. Your player tokens will earn points based on how the Athlete they represent performs and can earn a share of the weekly league rewards according to their point score.
Where can I see my player’s scores?
You can see you player’s scores on the LeagueDAO dApp. We have built a live stats feed that you can view from your team page on app.leaguedao.com
Scores and Rewards will be officially updated every Monday following the end of the prior week’s games.
How do I use my Player Token to join the League?
Once you have minted your Player Token go to app.leaguedao.com and connect your wallet, click View League on the appropriate Fantasy League (you will see both Basketball and Football); then click Stake Player and follow the steps to stake your Player Tokens in the league.
How are points scored?
The Fantasy Basketball League will use the following scoring:
- Three Point Field Goals: 3 points
- Two Point Field Goals: 2 points
- Free Throws Made: 1 point
- Rebounds: 1.2 points
- Assists: 1.5 points
- Blocked Shots: 2 points
- Steals: 2 points
- Turnovers: -1 points
How to I claim my rewards?
You can claim your rewards each week from the league dApp. Go to the ‘My Account’ page in app.leaguedao.com and click Claim Rewards to claim the rewards your player tokens earned during the prior week.
*Sometimes the page take a little bit to load the data from the subgraph, so if the number is showing 0 in error, wait a bit to let the amount update.
Can I use my player tokens in future NBA seasons?
Yes. Player Tokens will remain active for as long as the Athlete they represent remains active in the league. You can use your player tokens to compete in future Nomo seasons.
This is why we call it the “Ultimate Keeper League”.
