How to Store Your LEDU Tokens

If you’re a LEDU token holder then one of the most important things you need to decide is where you store your tokens. Whether you purchased them during the tokensale or on exchanges afterwards, keeping your LEDU safe is important. There are also some advantages to certain storage methods. For example, to participate in our HODL program and receive free LEDU every month just for holding your tokens, they need to be held in your personal crypto wallet.

Avoid Exchanges

While it may seem convenient to store your tokens on exchanges, this is in fact a very dangerous practice. You don’t own the private keys to your exchange wallets so if anything happens then you can quickly lose access to your coins. Also, exchanges can be hacked and when that happens, neither we nor the exchanges can help you. Exchange hackings are fairly common and millions of crypto coins have been taken from exchange wallets over the years.

Store on Personal Wallet

The best way to store your LEDU tokens is privately in your own personal crypto wallet. This is the safest method because you have access to the private keys and don’t need to worry about someone else getting their hands on your LEDU. Remember, LEDU tokens need to be stored in an ERC20 wallet. Here are some wallets you can use: Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Mist, MetaMask, MyEtherWallet. Also, storing your tokens on a private wallet allows you to be part of our HODL program.
