Another impressive LendLedger Community Expert joins our ranks this week — Sameer Singh Jaini, Founder and CEO of The Digital Fifth, former CTO of DCB Bank (India), and one of Fintech Asia’s Top 100 according to NextMoney.Org.
The Digital Fifth is a digital disruption consulting and delivery firm with a focus on banks, non-bank financial companies (NBFCs), wealth management, mutual funds, insurance and fintechs. The firm focuses on three key areas: digital & fintech consulting, fintech partnerships with an Open Innovation Framework, and fintech training. Sameer himself trains banks, NBFCs, and consulting firms on financial technologies.

About Sameer
Sameer is a futurist with two decades of rich digital experience across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Sameer served as the CTO of DCB Bank, one of India’s most innovative private banks. He has been part of core teams responsible for setting up Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bharatiya Mahila Bank, and has led digital initiatives at Kotak Mahindra Bank and Citibank. Sameer has also implemented end-to-end digital banks in Europe and has managed large banking initiatives and turnarounds in US and Europe for Finacle. Sameer is a recipient of multiple Best CIO and Innovation Awards, including for the Indian banking industry’s First Aadhaar Based ATM. He was evaluated as Top Tier leader in Infosys.
