Welcome to “Let’s Talk Data,” a blog to make data simple for everyone. We’re a group of data enthusiasts — passionate about data’s potential to inform thinking and transform world views. And we’re not the only ones. Beyond data scientists and analysts, so many people are itching to introduce data into their lives or workplaces, but aren’t yet confident with this new language. All of us have learnt how to read, write and understand a language. Data literacy is as simple as that. That’s why we at Geckoboard have launched a data literacy project, along with this blog, to get everyone “talking data.” As part of this you can look forward to our weekly news round-up “A Date with Data.” Every Tuesday we’ll share data-related stories that get us going, with a mixture of science and current affairs. Also stay tuned for our in-house data-inspired articles, which we’ll post biweekly.
