Let’s round up the latest news and developments in the Liberty Gaming web3 ecosystem and guild

Hey Liberty Gaming community and Web3 world, it’s been a while since our last round-up of developments, and we’ve had quite a few! We’ve got network developments, new partners, scholarship updates and a nice little update on Liberty Legends, our own development in The Sandbox.

Over the last few months, we’ve seen a bit of a directional change in blockchain game production, with huge names from traditional gaming transitioning into the space, and this having a huge impact on the quality we’re seeing launching and in development. We’ve even been fortunate enough to add a couple of these amazing GameFi projects to our partner network!

So let’s take a bitesize run-through of all things Liberty Gaming lately!

Game Partners

We’ve got some exciting new additions to our partner roster, and more are in the pipeline ready to be announced shortly!

To kick things off, we’ve got some big news, not just a game partner, but a game studio, working on some dazzling projects at the moment. Qorpo Game Studio, the brilliant minds behind the upcoming Citizen Conflict, an AAA-rated, free-to-play, team-based shooter game set in the dystopian world of Ether Islands, have joined our network. Developing on Unreal Engine 5 and supported by their all-encompassing ecosystem, Qorpo World, this is an exciting new collaboration for us.

We need to hop in the car to head to our next new game partner; RaceFi has come to join us! A multi-chain decentralised Metaverse and Car Racing game with web3 infrastructure built on Unreal Engine 5 (there’s a pattern forming here!) and incorporating AI and Machine Learning technology, this one is set to be epic! Offering pure race, battle race, PvP and PvE game modes in Race City, the RaceFi metaverse, this is yet another huge opportunity for our gamers and scholars.

Next on the list is kind of a sneak peek as it’s agreed but as yet unannounced, a full write-up is coming soon! Tap Fantasy, a super cool-looking game set on the planet Odom, is an MMORPG blockchain game. The team’s target is to become the biggest Play2Earn NFT game on BSC. Having already made some staggering achievements in terms of users, we’re very excited about this one!

Another exclusive leak here of as-yet-unannounced news! IguVerse, a unique move-to-earn project garnering a lot of attention in the space right now has joined us, and we’ve already deployed nearly 200 scholars! The project redefines the concept of NFTs using AI / ML technologies and incorporates some very unique social mechanisms to encourage user generation. We’re already enjoying IguVerse very much and looking forward to adding more scholars!

We do have a number of new partners to close up and deploy our ever-loyal Liberty Gaming scholars into in the next few weeks, but as they’re not official, we can’t say too much for now!

A Little Mystery

One thing I can mention is, you could well be seeing a new development within our guild in the very near future that could change the game for GameFi. It hasn’t been done before, but after mapping out a plan and having light discussions with our advisors and members of our support, it has been incredibly well received!

There is one final piece of the puzzle we need to either find or build, and we’ll hopefully be giving it a test run in the very near future. Watch this space!

Liberty Legends

Our own game experience is coming! As announced a short while ago, we’re currently developing our own GameFi experience in The Sandbox metaverse; Liberty Legends. Feel free to read the launch piece here if you haven’t already!

To keep you all updated, we are incredibly excited to tell you that development has been completed, bugs have been ironed out and it’s currently going through the QA process prior to approval for launch! Everything is on track and we couldn’t be more excited, you’ll be seeing a lot more about Liberty Legends on our socials as we ramp up the hype towards launch!

Scholarships

While it has to be said that earning opportunities took quite a hit in the tougher months of last year, we were all very pleased to see them begin to turn around a little at the start of the year.

The great thing is, while of course yes, it disheartened some gamers enough to give up, we actually saw an increase in activity and willingness to get involved in these games and work even harder for those all-important earnings!

We’ve implemented a system that actually rewards our best-performing scholars with additional scholarship opportunities and it’s made such a HUGE difference. Knowing that a little extra effort can open a new door is just the kind of incentive our players need, and they’ve gone charging through it!

We now have in excess of 1500 active scholarships in a whole host of games, and the awesome games mentioned above are going to increase those numbers even further.

It’s simple, GameFi is still alive and kicking, and the earning opportunities are still there, they just need a bit more work and dedication!

The $LGG Token

We’ve had a good start to the year this year in the markets! We saw excellent sentiment in January followed by a slightly cooler but not too negative period since, and it’s still too soon to fully believe we are out of the woods yet. There are some positive signs and a few high-profile figures have likened recent market action to the beginning of previous bullish markets.

However, until certain levels on the charts are reached, passed, probably retested and continued on an upward trend, it would be a sensible choice to remain cautious for now! We all would have loved to see a successful launch of $LGG already passed or in the imminent future, but it’s in all of our best interests to be patient, wait til the time is right, and have a super-successful launch!
