I can still remember the beginning of a race or the start of a school exam, it was so exciting and I was so eager to begin. It is okay if you have prepared well in advance for a test, and studied every chapter, page, and line, you have that confidence when you know that you are going to ace it. It is only when you feel this confidence is the beginning of a race or a school examination exciting at the very beginning, till the tough questions come along.
The green light is not always a great sign for the start of a project if you have not prepared for it and do not know what to expect. It is that uncertainty, that dampens your spirit and you enter the race, the examination, or the project expecting to fail. However, sometimes if it turns out to be a simple project or a short race that you can handle then you feel exuberant at the end of the race, exam, or project.
What are your feelings, when you are given the Green Light in life do you love to start things, or do you like to end things? I love the beginning, the middle, and the ending of things, as it gives me an opportunity to contribute all I can to any project. It is also an excuse for me to use my imagination, creativity, and innovation when handling any new work.
