Limination finally rises from an extended coma to deliver the second installment of the Colorado Collective mix series from Denver artist & activist Cord. This upload is long overdue, but necessary despite the delay. The talent erupting from Colorado’s bass music community is simply too overwhelming to ignore.
In the tradition of Vol.01 (listen back here), Cord leads an exploration of Colorado’s rich and resonant subfrequent soundscape in CO Collective Vol.02. Composed exclusively from Colorado-based productions, the tour traverses genres and BPMs to encompass the local community’s collective expanse. Cord curates from the center of the action to offer a scene showreel that testifies not only to the mile-high movement, but to the astute art of intentional track selection.
CO Collective Vol.02 is designed to shine on each artist’s unique musical personality, but the DJ himself is among Denver’s most underrated dons. Tune into his weekly show on Subtle.FM every Sunday night from 8–10PM MST, and rinse through the archives to uncover guest appearances by most of the producers included in the mix (and more).
