Trying out obscure Linux distributions is one of my nerdiest hobbies, so please don’t tell anybody. Last month I found the ExTiX Deepin edition to be a refreshing distro for curious FOSS people like me.

Since 2017 I’ve been using Solus on my workstation, even claiming that it stopped my distro hopping addiction — but honestly, “I’m feeling the itch again”.

And whenever that happens I head over to distrowatch.com and straight to the distributions waiting for evaluation. This is where you can find the really unique distros to play around with on a rainy weekend or to simply impress your cute Tinder date.

The name caught my attention and coming from a SEO background I chuckled at the thought to rank this kind of term. Google “PsychOS” and you’ll see what I mean. Maybe this little article can help the project get some traction to rank it above the irrelevant entries about trashy movies and TV series.
