People are hard,
Fickle,
Unpredictable,
Love is a puzzle,
Reduces even the smartest and bravest,
To withered husks.

People play games.
Money does not.
Money is simple.

In the world of currency,
There is no toying with emotion,
No ifs,
Or maybes,
Or betrayals,
Or leading on,
Or mixed signals,
Or bad first impressions.

Just simple math:
Check the price tag,
Check the bank account.

In money,
Even the poorest man
Will at least
Always know where he stands.

But in love,
There is no manager to complain to
When your heart gets broken,
And you want it fixed.

There is no balance inquiry,
To check if someone really loves you,
Or if you shouldn’t waste your time with them.
