The Filth in the Junkyard

The Junkyard,

Is a pile of twisted metal and ruined concrete that sits where the city used to be a million years ago.

Broken glass and melted plastic litter the ground like leaves in the forest. One can hear rodents and insects scurrying in all the little crevices.

Most pests don’t survive in the Junkyard; there isn’t much that’s edible. The only creatures that can survive are the ones who don’t mind the nausea and stomach pains.

This shit isn’t healthy, but it’s filling, and it doesn’t make you sterile. Not most of the time.

These pests who can eat the filth will be the ones who survive. Their progeny will reign supreme.

Mankind is gone. Life on Earth continues in the ruins of their creation.
