LiveMe Welcomed Broadcasters from Around the World at Second Annual Global Gala

This past week, we hosted our second annual Global Gala to celebrate our top broadcasters and fans from all around the world.

Broadcasters from Russia, LiveMe’s newest market, attend the Global Gala.

The exciting celebration was held at the Taipei Marriott Hotel in Taiwan and was co-hosted by popular Taiwanese comedian Mickey “Jiao Jiao” Huang and television actress Patty “Da Pei” Lee.

Our star-studded event brought together our most popular broadcasters, as well as renowned celebrities and entertainment personalities. The U.S., the UK and the Commonwealth, Brazil, Saudia Arabia and the Middle East, India, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, as well as our newest market Russia, were among the many countries represented.

Local creators from the states in attendance included Mary Cameron Rogers, an entertainer from California, and Kaity Tainer, a model and actress also based in Los Angeles best known for her role in the rock band The Plot in You’s music video “FEEL NOTHING,” which has garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.

The Global Gala Awards was presented by actress and model Anechka Marchenko, TV producer and artist Shen Yulin, actress Yuan Aifei, entertainer Matthew “Dooley” Candler, and LiveMe’s very own founder and CEO Yuki He. Awards categories included Eternal Star, Top Star, Rising Star, Glamour, Best Singer, Top Global & Regional Broadcaster, Lord of the Dance, and more.

The awards ceremony was followed by a series of special performances from popular performers, including singer-songwriter Kenji Wu, music artist Xiao Yu, actress and singer Jian Kaile, and more.

In keeping with our tradition of bringing engaging live content directly to tens of millions of users across the globe, the event was broadcasted live on LiveMe Taiwan’s official channel. You can watch the replay on the web or by downloading the LiveMe app for iOS or Android.

“I was truly honored to be surrounded by such diverse and passionate broadcasters from all over the world. They’re a constant reminder of why I started LiveMe in the first place, and it proves that we as a society can overcome cultural barriers by highlighting the best in people,” said LiveMe founder and CEO Yuki He following the gala.

The festivities continued well into the night, marking the end of a successful year of growth for LiveMe and its growing community.
