As a reader and supporter of London Literary Review we thought you might be interested in a new podcast focused on the best new literary fiction — Unsound Methods.

Hosted by LLR editor Lochlan Bloom and fellow author Jaimie Batchan the podcast features interveiws with writers about their process and craft

We want to share conversations about the nitty gritty of writing fiction and explore what makes fiction ‘real’ and as writers ourselves, we started Unsound Methods to create something different from the usual publicity mill and talk to fellow writers of literary fiction about their process rather than just regurgitating the PR for their latest book.

Listen to a new episode every fortnight, featuring a different guest author discussing their approach to a craft that is often commercially difficult and the motivation to sit down in front of an empty page and make things up…

About the hosts

Lochlan Bloom is the author of the novel The Wave, published by Dead Ink Books as part of their New Voices series, The Open Cage from Australian publisher InShort and the novella Trade.

Jaimie Batchan is a London based fiction writer. After growing up in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, he has lived in Reading, Oxford, Ljubljana and Lancaster.
