Look Upwards
A blog about the strangest astronomical objects in the universe.
Note from the editor

There are always plenty of difficult questions facing the astronomical community, and some regularly make headlines: What is the nature of dark matter and dark energy? What were conditions in the universe like shortly after the Big Bang? How will the universe evolve in the far future? But there are plenty of other - perhaps seemingly less exciting - problems that astronomers have devoted plenty of time to solving. In this blog, I write about peculiar galaxies, unusual gas clouds and HI regions, stars on rare evolutionary tracks, and other interesting objects, breaking down the papers about their discoveries, as well as subsequent observations. Hopefully I can write a post every one or two weeks - it takes a while to read papers! I'm always open to feedback and new ideas.
