Introducing Zombie Battleground Public API (+600-Pack Giveaway)
The alpha version of the Zombie Battleground API is live — and we’re giving away 600 card packs to the best third-party projects.
Are you a developer?
Want to show off your l33t coding skills and get recognized for it?
Then this update is really going to scoobie your doobie!
Today, we introduce to you the brand spankin’ new alpha version of the Zombie Battleground API — and a contest to go along with it (keep reading).
We’ve been involving the Zombie Battleground community as much possible during the game’s development. And with this API, we’re giving developers the means to create some super cool tools.
What Is Zombie Battleground?
Zombie Battleground is our digital trading card game for mobile and desktop. You and other humans build vicious armies, assemble your best hordes, and pit zombies against each other in the battle arena.
The game runs 100% on the blockchain, which means you truly own your cards forever, and you can trade them with other players on a massive P2P Marketplace — just like you could with physical trading cards.
And for the first time ever, we’re bringing the customizability of physical trading card games to the digital realm. You’ll be able to use Zombie Battleground cards in dozens of user-created custom game modes and tournaments.
The best part is, players don’t need to use MetaMask or own any cryptocurrency. Simply download and play — same as any other mobile or desktop game — which opens Zombie Battleground up to a world of mainstream gamers.
…and introduces them to the blockchain without them even knowing it.
I’m a Developer — Why Should I Build an App with the Zombie Battleground API? What’s in it for Me?
One of the most exciting things about this is that you’re getting in on the ground floor.
By starting to develop Zombie Battleground tools in these early days, you have a unique opportunity to build one of the first popular websites or apps for this new sensation — before hordes of other developers start spitting out tools left and right. Being first to market is definitely a big advantage 😉
Not only that, but we’ll be giving away a ton of free card packs to the developers who build the coolest tools (see below for details).
As always, the development of Zombie Battleground is very much community-focused. Your input is invaluable, and helps make the game exciting for both newbies and seasoned card players. The more useful and interesting tools there are to use, the more the ecosystem grows and the more fun it is for everyone.
Loom is a fast-growing company that’s putting a lot of resources behind this title, and it’s been getting a lot of attention.
…we want you to be a part of this revolution.
