Love is like a radio…

The songs play; sometimes you enjoy, sometimes you don’t.

The tunes may remind you of someone, sometimes it won’t.

How does one define it? Can you control how it will feel?

Is it a mother’s unconditional care

Or the twinkle of the bridal wear?

Is it fulfilling a dear one’s wish

Or receiving a stranger’s kindness in a dish?

Is it the cool breeze during hot summer

Or that uplifting quote when mood is a bummer?

Is it the person who brings joy

Or the person who can’t see you cry?

Sometimes it can be the only one.

Many times, you just know it’s not a home run.

Whether it’s a chance encounter of soulmates,

Or a later discovery after becoming best mates.

Whether it’s confined to interactions with a human,

Or it is spread across anything which makes us human.

You will know what ignites that spark!

A spark that just warms up your heart,

A spark that feels like a puzzle’s last part.
