What to expect from a town hall about love, sex, and relationships

At Touchpoint, our mission is to make it easier to love and be loved.

On the first Tuesday of every month, we host a town hall for women and men to come together for an open and intimate discussion about love, sex, and relationships. It’s a fun, social, and insightful evening filled with great connection and conversation.

Here’s what to expect.

When you buy a ticket, you are prompted to submit a question — anonymously.

Questions can be about anything related to love, sex, and relationships, and since they’re submitted anonymously, you can feel free to be as candid as you want to be. Examples include How do I know if I’m good in bed, How do I help my partner feel like they can tell me anything, and How do I talk dirty without feeling silly?

We start the night by voting on the questions we care most about.

When you arrive at Touchpoint, you’ll notice questions hanging on posters throughout the space. You’ll be given three stickers that serve as votes. You put your stickers on the questions you’re most excited to talk about.

We discuss the top three questions as a group.

Over the course of an hour, people share their ideas and experiences around the night’s questions with the group. While we’ve created a safe space for everyone to share, there’s no pressure to share anything at all. If you want to just sit there and take in the dialogue, that’s totally cool. It’s pretty entertaining stuff.

We share the best insights and stories from our events with our digital community through email, social, and on web.

We believe the beautiful ideas and anecdotes that emerge within our events can serve a greater purpose and audience if shared online. So after each event, we cultivate the best stuff and share them in tiny posts that are served to your inbox, social channels, and on Medium.
