How will Ludos and Imperial Throne Join Forces?
Imperial Throne will be implemented on the Ludos platform, in order to take full advantage of our PoW+PoS hybrid consensus, which implements the chain-side contract interaction protocol of the state channel and cross-chain interaction protocol, based on Plasma’s multi-sidechain and cross-chain protocol.
Ludos has registered with LudPay in Japan based on this technology, enabling the interoperability of virtual assets and physical currency. Not only that, but Ludos’ technology has also been recognized by Softbank, who will be cooperating with Ludos to develop a wallet application in the future. Furthermore, Ludos has already received invitations to discuss strategic cooperation from large corporations such as IBM, Lotte Group, and Yokohama Bank.
INFUN, the core team behind Imperial Throne, has previously worked for Tencent Tianmei L1 Studio (R&D studio responsible for ‘King’s Glory’). Their team incorporates the essence of traditional games into blockchain gaming, creating rich gameplay with in-depth systems on the blockchain.

How will Ludos and Imperial Throne Power the Revolution?
From the perspective of current blockchain games, the problems mainly occur in the low transaction speed, high development threshold, lack of game categories, and lack of token usage scenarios. A number of issues have led to the mindset that the current blockchain-powered games industry is more of a gimmick, rather than being a credible alternative. Some of the problems facing blockchain games today are that they lack platform maturity, face development challenges, and often suffer from low efficiency on the mainchain.
Ludos Plasma implemented a partial sidechain expansion based on Plasma Cash — Ludos Plasma allows users to securely transfer Fungible or non-fungible tokens to the game sidechain and safely return to the main chain after completing the interaction. At the same time, Ludos Plasma provides a Challenge period (initially 3 days), blocking the possibility of actual damage from malicious actions by side-chain users and Plasma Operator. So Imperial Throne players will have Ludos Plasma assign a unique ID to the Token stored on the sidechain network, making it non-fungible and having an independent transaction history.
Ludos and Imperial Throne do not support direct value interaction between sidechains. Instead, cross-game digital asset transactions require that the assets of the sidechain be returned to the main chain through the root contract and then through the main chain. This does sacrifice some efficiency and costs higher transaction fees, but it guarantees the feasibility of atomic trading, as well as asset security.
In the future, Ludos and Imperial Throne will establish their own ecological incentives, giving more benefits to players and establishing an early consensus. We believe that Ludos and Imperial Throne will directly reinvigorate the stagnated development of the entire game industry.
