URGENT NOTE ADDED
This is of course not the original story, evidently some sort of time flux has happened destroying most of the content and instead filling it up with various artifacts of its passage through the aetherial dimensions until its final blasted and incomprehensible form.
A project is underway, which you can find here, to restore the damaged logs — which I am sure you will all agree is a necessary component of not facing a similar problem in the future, the past, or anywhere along the timeline.
