Obelisk DCR1 Decred Setup Guide
Just received your Obelisk DCR1 miner? Don’t stress we are here to help you set it up!
To get started, navigate to your dashboard by finding your miners’ IP address using your router or IP scanner. The page will look something like this:
You should see the option to mine with a number of different pools. We’re going to set it up with Luxor’s Decred Mining Pool, the best mining pool — disclaimer: we’re slightly biased :)
Luxor Mining is a PPS pool with a 2% fee. We believe in Decred and that is why allocate a small portion of fees back to community initiatives. By signing up with Luxor Mining you will be directly supporting the success of Decred.

Okay, that’s enough promoting for one day… lets continue setting up your Obelisk DCR1!

dcr-cn.luxor.tech:4445
dcr-eu.luxor.tech:4445
dcr-asia.luxor.tech:4445
Pick one of the above Stratum nodes (ensure it is port 4445), and type in the pool setting as follows:
URL: stratum+tcp://dcr-us.luxor.tech:4445 (set to your nearest location)
Worker: [LuxorUsername or YourDecredAddress].workername (workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be invalid). More on user accounts here.
Password: 123
For the other nodes (Pool 2 and Pool 3), feel free to use any of the other region nodes, such as eu.luxor.tech:4445.
Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply type in your username at the top of the searchbar. You should see something like this:
