Get the Most Out of Your iPhone
My first iPhone was the iPhone 3G way back in 2007. I’ve been an iPhone user ever since. Subsequently, I’ve upgraded to the latest iPhone, from 4 to 5 to 6 and then X. Clearly, the iPhone 6 stayed with me the longest. But my iPhone 4 had my heart — I never would have upgraded if it hadn’t been stolen in a crowded train.
I’d recently upgraded to an iPhone 12. In the 10+ years I’ve owned an iPhone, there are many many accessories I’ve bought that keep improving my experience with the iPhones. As I know I’ll be sticking to an iPhone down the line, most of the accessories I buy are keeping that in mind and work well with almost all iPhones.
Here’s a breakdown of all things that help make my iPhone experience that much more.
2. Camera Gear
4. Use FaceID with a mask
6. Speakers and Headphones
7. Apple Watch
Let’s dive in.
On cases before, I defaulted to black. It was simpler. And for the iPhone X, it had to have a kickstand — it’s helped me out in many situations, especially while watching videos and clicking pictures on a timer when I didn’t have a tripod. But with the 12, I didn’t want to give up on the slim lightweight aesthetics of the phone just for a stand. Also cases with kickstands are limited. So I went with Nanopop case by Caseology — dark blue in colour with a pop of yellow. It was for ₹1800 on amazon. I love it, it’s light and fun and protects my phone. Also, the added challenge of propping up my phone while watching videos is a creative challenge my brain appreciates. The case does pick up finger-smudges but they are only visible in certain lighting. Overall, it looks clean, and the edges of the phone and the camera module are raised up so no part of the phone touches the surface.
