10 Thoughts | Day 5
Matt 2.0
I was recently wondering why most adults stop receiving coaching / teaching once they enter the working world, and think it would cool to build a platform like Coach.me for learning to master skills from experts in their field. Here are the top 10 skills I’d master if this platform existed:
1 | Making Lattes
I’m slightly (very) addicted to coffee, and always thought it would be cool to be able to make latte art
2 | …and Ice Cream
Anyone who knows me knows about my obsession with ice cream, and what better way to foster my addiction than to have my kitchen smell like coffee-oreo ice cream and waffle cones??
3 | Butchering and Grilling Steak
I love to grill and would pay big money to spend a day learning from a grill master
4 | Designing a Logo and Jersey
I’ve always nerded out on logo and jersey design, but never had the artistic skills to actually design anything myself
5 | Developing an Application
Maybe one of these days I’ll be able to actually build one of these ideas and stop talking about ’em…
6 | Creating a Hardware Product
I’ve always wanted to create a physical device, and would create the smart Apple Watch band I mentioned on day 3 if I were making one today
7 | Scoring ‘The Goal’
Short Jewish kids don’t play in the NHL, but at least I’d be able to do THAT
8 | Doing Double-Unders
I get extremely frustrated when I’m unable to accomplish an athletic feat, and I can’t jump rope to save my life
9 | Singing
I’m good at a few things, but singing is not one of them…
10 | Reading 10x Faster
One of those things I’m good at? Reading super slowly.
