2.MDT is thrilled to partner with Coin Club, one of the biggest community-managing platforms for blockchain projects across the world, in global community expansion and digital marketing. Meanwhile, MDT APAC General Manager Carina Zhang is appointed as Coin Club’s Global Brand Ambassador.
Three weeks ago, MDT offered an Airdrop with the help of Coin Club. More than 100 thousand people from 168 countries participated in the event within 4 hours, and over 30 thousand people joined MDT’s Telegram group! Coin Club and MDT will heavily collaborate with one another and deliver more campaigns to reward our global community!
3. We just finished MDT Wallet front-end skeleton setup, and we are testing the first API of the wallet. This API will be connected to Coin Market Cap for users to see the market price of MDT in real-time. Designers are also wrapping up MDT wallet prototype. We expect to get it done in one or two weeks.
4. Gem Ng, former Co-Founder & CTO of Four Directions, joins MDT as Chief Architect. He will lead our engineering team in building MDT ecosystem and data products related.
Gem is a seasoned technology executive with more than 10 years of proven success in mobile apps, cloud platforms, games, big data and machine learning. After graduating from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, he started his own company with his friends. As the CTO of Four Directions, he led an engineering team of over 60 engineers and helped grow the startup into one of the top tech companies in Hong Kong.

5. MDT Co-Founder Heatherm Huang was invited to attend 2018 Blockchain Investment Banquet in Shenzhen, China. Hosted by Value Promise Foundation, this event attracted many blockchain experts, mainstream news outlets and investors. It aims to connect promising blockchain projects with investment institutions, aggregate resources and strengthen the industry.
Heatherm shared his personal experience of how he got inspired to create MDT in the event. He introduced to the audience that MDT is a decentralized big data ecosystem. All the data transactions will be recorded on blockchain, which could effectively avoid fraud during the process.
6.MDT CCO Maggie Deng attended Global Big Data Forum and Global Blockchain Forum in Santa Clara, U.S.. On the speaker list were Tim Draper, Founder at Draper Associates, Michael Arrington, Founder at Arrington XRP Capital, Eric Ly, Co-Founder at LinkedIn, etc. Maggie introduced MDT to over 1,000 attendees, and explained the logic behind the ecosystem and what pain points MDT determines to solve in big data industry. She garnered a lot of positive feedback during the event.
7.We will hold an online competition for all the applicants for MDT Angels in China this weekend. We finished recruiting two weeks ago, and over 30 community members signed up for it. Half of them have made it to the finals. During the upcoming contest, we will have them solve some problems of community management in simulated situations. Based on their performance on teamwork and community engagement, 10 participants will be selected as MDT Angels in the end and get rewards.
