MDT Nominated for FORTUNE China Innovation Awards
Great news! MDT was named one of the top12 contestants for FORTUNE China Innovation Awards! We are the only and the first ever blockchain project that makes the cut among hundreds of outstanding applicants.
FORTUNE magazine is one of the most influential business magazines worldwide. The New York-headquartered news outlet set up the award in 2017 to recognize emerging companies with the potential to be innovation leaders in the Chinese market and beyond. The initial application this year started in September. Qualified candidates should have well-developed products or services, and the potentials to revolutionize the Chinese tech industry.
After two months of screening, we received an invitation letter from Clifton Leaf, Global Editor-in-Chief of FORTUNE magazine on November 19th, from which we learned that MDT was selected as one of the finalists of the award. We were also invited to attend FORTUNE Global Tech Forum in Guangzhou hosted by the magazine on November 29.
MDT was nominated as the finalists for “Fintech and Blockchain” category along with other two companies, and it was the only blockchain-powered project focused on big data. During the forum, MDT Co-Founder Heatherm Huang gave a speech, and impressed the judges with a reliable, innovative business model, abundant data sources and large user base, full-fledged data analysis products, and an experienced developing team.
Regardless of winning the award or not, we consider it a great honor to be chosen as one of the finalists. We are glad that our commitment to innovation is recognized by leaders and explorers in the technology industry. We will definitely keep up the good work. Stay tuned!
