Guild — All you need to know

You are halfway there to the Moon Race Hall of Fame. The race has witnessed fierce fighting among top runners. Now it’s time to collaborate with other racers and complete the ultimate mission — rocking the Guild Reward pool!

1. Overview

We created the Guild feature to build solidarity among the players when joining the competition, not only in Moon Race but also in the Mech Master game launch in the future. Each guild will consist of several Mecha owners and/or investors racing as a team.

Each account can create one guild at a time. How to create one? Let’s take a look at this formula:

50 guild materials + 100 $MECH = 1 Guild

Up to this time, to be a guild owner, you need 50 guild materials that were the Battle Pass Reward of Moon Race and an extra 100 $MECH tokens as a fee. The guild will be active once you have done all the required actions.

2. Participants

To make the guild a well organized and effectively functioning group, we set it up with 2 member roles, including:

Guild master: The one who creates the guild. This account can access all administration features, such as accepting membership requests, removing members, and transferring ownership to another account.

Guild member: The typical participant who contributes to the guild performance, and is entitled to guild’s benefits at the end of Moon Race.

3. General rules

To join and create a guild, you need to connect your account with your Metamask wallet and join the Mech Master server on Discord. Guild membership conditions for each type of user will be:

If you have not joined any guild yet: eligible to create and join
If you are a member of a guild: can’t join a new guild unless you exit the current one
If you have already left a guild: can join a new guild once the penalty period (48h) has expired

Details of the steps to create and join a guild will be updated in the upcoming tutorial.

4. Benefits

As mentioned in The Ultimate Handbook to Moon Race Rewards, Guild Rewards account for 50% of the overall reward pool in Moon Race, which is the biggest proportion compared to Ranking Rewards and Battle Pass Rewards.

At the time of writing, the total $MECH tokens staked in Moon Race reached nearly 2 million tokens, resulting in a total of 1.1 million $MECH for the prizes. Similar to how Ranking Rewards are delivered, Guild Rewards will be given to the top 20 guilds that have the best performance at the end of Moon Race. The rewards will be sent to every Mecha participating in the guild, following the allocation stated in this table:

It’s noteworthy that each guild reward recipient (a.k.a Mecha) will then share the benefit to those who own and/or stake in it based on the relative contribution percentage in the cohort.

5. Guild racing vs. Solo racing

Guild racing is where teamwork shines. Being a guild member, you have the advantage over solo racers as all members are willing to give a helping hand to push the guild to its highest velocity.

Meanwhile, racing alone requires you to be rich in resources, all by yourself. Intense situations such as when Moon Race almost ends, and the maximal distance that your solo Mecha can run only reaches rank 21, you will then miss the chance to be among the top 20 runners that receive Ranking rewards. If that’s the case, what a pity!

You’ve read about how awesome guild racing is. But do you know what’s better than that? It’s competing for solo and in guild simultaneously! You are entitled to race alone as usual, and team up with other racers to get your guild’s name up in the Guild Leaderboard at the same time. Piled up with Battle Pass Rewards (if you are a Mecha owner), and Ranking Rewards (if you are either a Mecha owner or an investor), your Guild Rewards will certainly satisfy such a wise multitasker like you.

Making a joint effort with a good company can yield well-deserved rewards for your guild in general and yourself in particular. So what are you waiting for? Moon Race Guild is challenging but well worth your effort. Recruit more teammates and join the race now!
