Mecha Stats — Essential Read for Your Game Plan
We already know there are 7 Mecha races, including Legion, Ravager, Aerial, Giant, Alien, Relic, and Shapeshifter. Each race possesses a signature fighting style and different stat allocation. But do you know how Mecha stats are calculated? The following explanation will give you more insight about it.
As mentioned in the article Mecha Anatomy, each Mecha body part is the storage of a distinctive stat. There are 6 base stats in total. Head conducts energy, core keeps durability, torso preserves defense capability, arm leads attack, leg induces mobility, and miscellaneous parts affect Mecha’s speed.
Original Mecha has 200 points in total, contributed from a fixed amount of stats. The table below illustrates the variance among stats of disparate Mecha races.
To begin with, the color red emphasizes the peak stat attribute that a Mecha has. The numbers in orange show the second topmost, and the yellow ones display the third highest stat of the mechanical entity.
With that provided, Legion is obviously the strongest in Defense, slightly less robust in Energy, and a tad less durable compared to other beasts such as Alien (45 points Durability) or Giant (40 points Durability). Likewise, the three greatest stats that a Ravager carries are Speed, Attack, and Mobility. As such, Ravager is the best at Speed, the second brutal attacker, and fairly flexible at Mobility.
The same rationale applies to other Mechas. Even so, our magician Shapeshifter has a minor noncompliance with that rule. While others carry one highest stat only, Shapeshifter owns two even-handed stats which are Attack and Defense. Magic happens when they change these prime stats to Speed and Mobility after transforming, making it hard for the rival due to uncertainty in fighting style.
