All of us can agree on how important having a good meal is; it can literally make or break your day. Since the Coronavirus lockdown and quarantine began, we have all been missing out on going on those trips in search of that one delicious dish. Well, let us introduce you to Team Foodie at Meesho and the scrumptious meals they cook and procure to share with the rest of the world.

For these Meeshoites, food is passion. They travel to far off locations for the perfect meal and to them, food represents a community and its people. It represents the coming together of ideas and sharing of passion. And even if all of us can’t travel or dine out much these days, these drool-worthy Instagram feeds and photos of our foodie superstars are sure to get you hungry.

Meet the foodies of Meesho who know exactly how to narrate a tale interwoven with delicious food:

Preeti Ramachandran

“I’m a die-hard foodie which makes me celebrate with my favourite dish on the happiest days and sulk with my favourite dish on days that aren’t so great. I also make it a point to try different cuisines from the different places I visit. I wanted to share this journey with everyone, have passionate conversations about food, and encourage people to experience the same joys I do with food. That is how Hungry Banjarans, my Instagram account that is dedicated to food, was born in July 2020.” — Preeti Ramachandran, Quality Auditor, O/R

Shreya Das

“Being born in a Bengali family makes you a foodie by default. 😅 We are obsessed with our fish curry and rice! While I enjoy simple eating at home, I love experimenting when I am travelling or even eating out.

I enjoy a good Sunday brunch and a scrumptious Asian feast. I’m also very big on desserts — brownies, ice cream, waffles…I just love it all! My hometown Kolkata is super famous for all its pocket-friendly street food. So, if I really had to pick a favourite among favourites, I would go for a big platter of Kolkata Bhetki Fry served piping hot with a dash of kashundi (mustard sauce). Cheers to the eternal love story that is me and food in all its variety and glory. Happy Eating☺️” — Shreya Das, Manager — Marketing.

Sneha Sharma

“Food has always been my favourite topic of conversation, and there is nothing I binge-watch more than tv shows. I travel to cities and countries across the world with the primary intention of trying different types of cuisine. Since I have so many stories to tell about my food adventure I thought it is best to document them and that is how my food blog Chasing Foodprints was born.

It has been a little more than a year since I started my food journey on Instagram and once travel resumes after the coronavirus pandemic I plan to start blogging actively again. For now, I am sticking to the yumminess I cook up at home and order in.” — Sneha Sharma, Video Content Specialist

Reetu Priya

“I cook every day and enjoy the whole process of feeding myself and my loved ones. I never thought that a page would validate my cooking skills. I launched Mustard Palate during the pandemic and since then the daily chore of cooking has turned into my passion. It is the best de-stressor during these hard times.” — Reetu Priya, Senior Marketing Associate

Sharanya Bala

“I am a foodie and love exploring food joints of all varieties. I’ve ventured on many food trips within India with the sole intention of exploring itsfood culture. I have covered Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Goa, Jaipur, and so on.

I also love to try cuisines from home chefs and am an active member of a food group named Eat At Trivandrum — my hometown — , wherein I get to interact with more than 1,000 restaurant owners, 500 home chefs and other foodies like me. I get to know about the best places to eat from this group and I carry it forward by writing reviews for the best eateries I have been to. I enjoy cooking and it is to invest in this passion that I decided to live by myself in an apartment. Food is not just what you eat. It is a language, a culture and an emotion without barriers. — Sharanya Bala, Senior Executive Assistant — Tech
