Megapont <> Screen Fiends Special Announcement
This is only the second partnership special announcement we have ever released. The first was Project Indigo. I am proud to be the person ScreenFiends trusts to announce their project to the Stacks community.
ScreenFiends is an incredibly original NFT project launching on Stacks after the Nakamoto release.
Why am I telling you about it?
Team
Faze ( https://x.com/ListenToFaze) Many of you will know Faze from his role in babysitting the Megapont community since October 2021. He’s been with Megapont since day one and is a big part of the community. He’s also worked with projects on Stacks like Nonnish, and many of you were unfortunate enough to meet him in New York.
Mike (https://x.com/lightwaites) played a pivotal role in the Megapunks release from Megapont, the inscriptions were all handled by Mike and this person is currently the CTO at Supderduper. I’ve personally known Mike for over a decade, and this person is the last successful person to be my boss. Since then, everyone has assumed that I was unhinged and unmanageable.
Rob ( https://x.com/bobby_chizzle) is the main brain behind ScreenFiends. I was first introduced to ScreenFiends as an IP over a year ago, and the idea of it being an NFT project was nothing but a spark. I was instantly blown away with the originality and quality of the work and the universe that Rob was creating.
The team is one of the strongest NFT teams I’ve seen. I am honoured to have convinced them to release on Stacks as one of the first collections released post-Nakamoto, and I can’t wait for you all to see the incredible world and art Rob has crafted with Faze and Mike. We need more high-quality projects on Stacks, and I have no doubt that ScreenFiends will be one of those projects.
The Project
I’ll let Rob introduce you all, but if I had to write this section, I’d simply say that the world is great, the developers are great, and the art is great. Ape irresponsibly. All jokes aside, the team have created a project they care deeply about and are excited to build into something we all want to see on Stacks.
