Polygon zkEVM (Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine) is a new layer-2 solution on Ethereum. Users enjoy faster, private and secure transactions at a low cost on Polygon zkEVM.
Meta Apes can scale further through this integration and ensure faster transaction finality.

How Does This Impact the Players and Owners?
We just finished the first phase of the integration, and it includes the NFTs. Now users can have the Meta Apes NFT fighters on Polygon zkEVM wallets and connect them to the game and use. If you are a newbie, check out the starter guide on how to connect your wallet.
Furthermore, owners can also transfer their existing NFT fighters on Ape Chain or BNB Chain to Polygon zkEVM and vice versa.
Bridging NFT Fighters From Ape Chain/BNB Chain to Polygon zkEVM
- Go to the Meta Apes platform and connect your wallet.
- Click Transfer NFT/PEEL, and choose Meta Apes bridge. (Celer bridge will support transfer to Polygon zkEVM soon.)
- Then go to the NFT Bridge. On the widget under source chain, select the chain your NFT fighters are present on: Ape Chain or BNB Chain.
- In the NFT to teleport section, select the NFT fighter you wanna transfer. Set Polygon zkEVM as the destination chain.
- Check the transaction details and click on Bridge Your NFT.
That’s it. You bridged your NFT fighter to Polygon zkEVM.
The same process applies to bridging your assets from Polygon zkEVM to Ape Chain or BNB Chain.
