In the third quarter of 2023, Metadium continued to make significant advancements in the field of Decentralized Identity(DID). Here’s a summary of Metadium’s key achievements and developments from the past summer.
Summary
- The third quarter of 2023 saw a total of 12,765,890 transactions and 28,999 DID wallets created.
- The Bokbunja hard fork and Version 0.10.0 upgrade were successfully implemented on the testnet.
- Metadium’s existing DID wallet service, MYKEEPiN, has been renewed and opened with Wepublic Wallet.
- Changes in META circulation supply were announced to the BP node contract.

Q3 Monthly Transactions
During the third quarter of 2023, there were a total of 12,765,890 transactions and 28,999 DID wallets(as of September 30th).
Hard Fork
On September 26th, the Bokbunja hard fork, a transformative upgrade to elevate the Metadium network to new heights, was successfully implemented in the testnet.

The Version 0.10.0 upgrade, containing several significant improvements and new features, was implemented in the Metaedium testnet.

MYKEEPiN Renewal Open
MYKEEPiN has been renewed and opened with Wepublic Wallet, adding DAO functionality.
Metadium’s DID technology is implemented in the identity verification protocol of Wepublic DAO participants and is utilized in Wepublic Wallet.

Circulation Supply
Nine nodes in the Metadium network contribute to block creation. On August 31, 2023, the contract period of these node operators expired, and new ones in the Metadium network replaced the existing node operators. As a result of this, a change in circulation supply was announced.

유통량 업데이트
메타디움 네트워크에는 블록생성을 해주는 9개의 노드가 존재합니다. 2023년 8월 31일 해당 노드 주체들의 계약기간이 만료되어 기존 노드 주체가 새로운 메타디움 노드 주체로 변경되고, 이에 따른 유통량 변경사실을 공시했습니다.
