MetaGaming Guild DAO: The Fence

MetaGaming Guild serves to highlight Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) and it will consistently put a stronghold on community ownership. In this case, MGG players have a direct say in the decision-making process which is predominantly based on the ownership of MGG tokens.

But before all that, a fence must be created ~ A fence not to prohibit but to protect; a fence where you are truly free — having the privilege to optimize and enjoy what is provided to you with parameters established for your good and the greater good of the whole community.

The MGG core team builds the fence for their DAO by initially starting with centralized control of the platform — covering functions such as choosing the NFT game assets and virtual assets to purchase, identifying the earning ratio between MGG and scholars, etc. As the fence is being developed to establish parameters that are beneficial to the community, it will completely transition to the Decentralized Autonomous Organization over time.

As the MGG network expands and rebuilds its fence to cover a wider parameter, it shall gradually welcome token holders, contributors, advisors and early players in the blockchain and the NFT system.

As more and more MGG players are on-boarded, MGG ownership shall be distributed accordingly whereby MGG token holders will ultimately become the key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Nevertheless, the builders of the fence are still the MGG administrators. With an aim to create a fence that brings freedom for the common good of the MGG community, MGG administrators are given the rights to:

Hire new scholars
Purchase NFT game assets and early start-up NFT gaming projects that meet MGG’s criteria
Hire team members
Issue the MGG tokens based on the vesting schedule
Spend the MGG Treasury Funds based on the decisions by the guild members or community
