For this edition of the bi-weekly update, we have some news to share with you on both the technology and marketing fronts. To briefly preview, our core developers are finalizing the details of our next major update, Pillars of Creation, and the testnet for this update will be live in January. We invite any community devs to test this out once this version is out!

On the marketing front, we will host a live AMA with Metaverse Foundation CEO Eric Gu and CTO Chen Hao in early January, and we invite you to submit your questions on this Reddit thread. PR Newswire, one of the largest press syndication medias in the world, also invited Metaverse to attend their annual China Summit in Shanghai on December 13th. Marketing Updates

Metaverse held an online Telegram AMA on December 21st, where core developer Laurent, marketing manager William, and social community manager Trinity answered questions live. Though this was a relatively short event, we hope that the upcoming video AMA will satisfy the community’s questions! Eric and Chen Hao will be in this video, and we will update you accordingly when we confirm an exact date in early January.

We had the pleasure of hosting a group of Shanghai Jiaotong University students for a series of blockchain discussions about the real life use cases of this technology. Members of the Metaverse team gave insights into how blockchain works and why this technology is significant in creating a decentralized trust system between different players. The study group focused on the social impact of blockchain, and the Metaverse team was able to provide knowledge and insights to the graduate students. Thank you Ruben from Jiaotong University for setting this up!

PR Newswire invited Metaverse to their annual media summit at the Four Seasons in Shanghai. We learned a lot about the state of media and PR in various industries, including how Chinese companies expand into the international market with digital strategies. As we finalize the details for the next major upgrade for the Pillars of Creation, we will release more details to the public and also provide some giveaways as promotional activities. There will be puzzles, content, and a continuous barrage of updates as we move into the new year. We hope our community can help Metaverse in pushing Pillars of Creation around the world!

Team & Operations

ViewFin, one of Metaverse’s global alliance partners, hosted an internal workshop to brief the Metaverse team on the market value management services provided by ViewFin. The workshop gave an overview of the revenue model of market-making operations and the importance of market-making to the value of all blockchain projects.
