Finding the right partners in the NFT space has been a fun and massive learning experience for our team at Metaverse HQ.
After 2 months of engaging partners in group DMs, Google Hangouts, Twitter Spaces, AMA office hours in the Metaverse HQ private Discord, and post-mint, we’ve grown more convicted as to what makes the “right” partner.

That was the last time I heard about Dolce & Gabanna in the NFT space. The New York Times had written an article back in September of D&G’s impressive feat in the WEB3 space, and apparently it was only the beginning.
My team and I had a chat with UNXD, the company that spearheaded D&G’s highly publicized series of NFT sales back in September, who have recently announced their next project with D&G alongside.
A little on UNXD, they quietly raised $4 Million in funding from the likes of Animoca Brands and Polygon Studios (https://notes.unxd.com/creating-the-future-of-luxury-and-culture-in-the-metaverse-2256a89d3311) and have recently announced a collaboration with Jacob & Co.
The UNXD team, though early in our relationship, has been incredibly open to our team’s feedback on improving their releases! We are excited to announce our partnership with UNXD and are bullish to continue our collaboration in more ways than an allowlist for their Dolce & Gabanna NFT release.

Looking like another absolute rager from the South East Asian region, Easy Demons Club has the team and resources to make a splash on the NFT main stage.
I’ve been saying this since Superlative Secret Society, and it was even more apparent since On1, that artists/teams from eastern parts of the world are incredibly slept on. Metaverse HQ has officially partnered with Nametag to offer every MVHQ member a free mint during a special designated minting window.
Nametag, a name admittedly I have not heard of since last year, which in NFT time feels like an eternity, has finally re-emerged into the spotlight having partnered with the likes of Wonder Pals, offering holders free Nametag mints.
There’s a lot to be desired about a solution like Nametag and Ethereum Name Space as branding and web3 assets become highly valuable to individuals, brands, and corporations alike.
We’ve confirmed a couple of things with the Nametag team.

When we say we like to bet on projects with solid teams, The Weirdos is a great example of just that.
My first exposure of The Weirdos co-founders Kernowkream and Crypt0Jack was from the launch of Superlative Secret Society Advisors. For those that are in the know, I joined as an advisor for SSS a month after the fact and have been a fan of theirs ever since.

ALPHA SHARKS FOR METAVERSE HQ
As is the bread and butter of the most active NFT traders, understanding the tools you have access to will help guide your frame as an investor.
The model of releasing an NFT to serve as gated access to a toolset is not a novel concept, and Alpha Sharks is looking to provide value to an ever growing ecosystem of tools and investors alike looking for that edge.
Ideally when we book partnerships, we like to take our time and meet with the team a month in advance of their release (at least). This gives us time to assess, vet, and monitor a team’s progress up to mint date.
In the case with Alpha Sharks, we were able to get on each other’s radars very last minute, with their mint date coming up on the 23rd of this month.
I’d like to first point out that any team that is willing to meet with us on a Saturday, no less three days before their drop, will get high praise in my book. Alpha Shark’s NFT Llama did just that and helped me get setup to demo their platform, which has taken the Alpha Sharks team 50 days to complete.
Second thing I’d like to note is that I actively seek new tools, so naturally when testing Alpha Sharks beta I am playing the comparison game in my head. There’s no subscription access available and neither are there plans to be. You can only access this tool via an Alpha Sharks NFT.
A little from my test run:
The opening dashboard shows modularity comparative to NFT Nerds and Moby, with isolated tabs that are more singular in focus. There’s an attempt at a firehose type display where you can actually “snipe” listings in real time directly from the dashboard.
There’s also a whale tracker toggle view, but that’s nothing new when compared to Nansen and the other commercially available tools.
There’s also a live view of trending secondary collections, filterable by window of time. Compared to Moby and Icy Tool’s similar displays, I find it quite accurate, and would love to see them gather more data from other marketplaces.
Alpha Shark’s tool can use more improvement in the “catching mints” department. The data they display on trending mints won’t really help you catch a stealth mint or momentum. Hopefully this is something they can work on improving.
A lot of the great tools do this already, allowing you to setup notifications through different mediums so you’ll never miss a hyped mint.
In conclusion…
When considering mint price at a .2 price point for life time access, this beta tool shows a lot of promise for providing real time value to NFT traders and investors looking for an easy to use tool.

As two night crew degens, me and Ol Sneaks were on the hunt for mints, flips, and proper investments.

This meeting was +EV as hell, the coordinator we spoke with fully doxxed himself and was incredibly professional.
Our biggest takeaway is that the resources needed for Screenshot Labs to build Everai’s P&E is already there, NFT sale or not. They are not reliant on the outcome of their upcoming sale to develop their vision, which a lot of NFT projects these days can’t say the same for.
We are incredibly bullish on ANYTHING play & earn as gamers ourselves, especially with GameFi season in full effect, and are happy/excited to back Screenshot Labs and their upcoming game Everai.

There’s a lot to be impressed about with Skyverse at face value. It’s ambitions don’t simply rest at building a metaverse or initiating a sandbox project.
