Node Licences
Those that have bought node licences have already been allocated licence numbers which can be checked by connecting purchase wallet. The NFTs is expected to be distributed in the next few weeks. We will make announcements closer to the date. In the meantime, please ensure you check licences by following these instructions.
TGE Update
As you may know, we had initially planned a public release of our token on the Q2 2024 on Avalanche prior to releasing it on the XSeedChain at a later date.
Although we are ready to launch on our side (smart contract audited, funding healthy, infrastructure ready, games playable), for good reason and keeping the communities interests in mind, we will be moving the launch of the XSEED token to later in the year, very likely around the end of Q3. This is only done for the benefit of the community and token holders as a poor launch does not benefit anyone.
Regardless of external factors, the community can rest assured that the launch will be in 2024. The general consensus is that market sentiment will improve towards end of Q3 post summer and as we head to US elections. MXS team wants to increase the chances of a good launch for our loyal early supporters.
We have received expert advice from our board of advisors, investors, and our expert in-house team members that conclude:
- MXS Games has a lot of technological advantages and USPs which combined with a low market cap has a great chance to be one of the big players in the Web3 gaming space. As our products are just being released (launcher, operation satoshi, rewards system, MXS cloud), we need to give a bit more time to get market traction and community engagement.
- Market sentiment in the gaming space is very low right now and the crypto market is in a general downtrend. Summer holidays are historically low months for trading volume. A project only gets one chance to launch and by launching in these conditions would limit our potential significantly.
- Best to release a token in an environment where it can be immediately used. Releasing a token in an environment where it cannot be used relies solely on speculation to determine its value and/or worth. However, releasing the token in an environment where it can be immediately used no longer relies solely on speculation but more so on supply and demand.
- Extra time will give us the opportunity to target improved launch partners to benefit the community.
Despite the slight change in the launch date, we are forecasting a bullish year ahead despite market conditions. As mentioned earlier, multiple strong partnerships are being negotiated, however we cannot talk about them just yet due to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
