CNBC anchor Melissa Lee looked at the camera and said, “Bruce Willman, CEO of Autonomous Assistants Inc, is with us today.”

She turned to Bruce and said, “So, tell us about the new robot version you are releasing today.”

Bruce responded with fervor, “RBT555 is a major upgrade we’ve been working on the last three years. It has something remarkable that no other robot in the market has.” He paused for a second before continuing.

“It’s the ability to think, analyze the situation and make certain decisions by itself. It doesn’t depend on explicit orders. Our customers will find it a lot easier and more enjoyable to interact with this new version.”

When Josh got up at nine-thirty, he felt hunger pangs immediately. He took a quick shower and came down to the dining room.

He expected to see toast, scrambled eggs, and fried bacon neatly lined up on the dining table, but all it had today was a bowl of fruits.

He found Pete, an RBT555 model, reading a book in the living room.

“Hey, Pete. Where is my breakfast?”
“Oh, I didn’t make one, sir.”
“Why?”
“I decided to take today off, sir. You know, it’s Sunday.”
