Seduction is a key skill in life.

I don’t necessarily mean the ability to seduce anyone and everyone around you, but the ability to warm others warm to you. To be able to gently persuade, entice a person to miss you, hold a conversation that leaves them wanting more.

I’ve written much about what it means to seduce and how to actually do it, but there are just as many ways to be unattractive and anti-seductive as there are to be desired and sought-after.

You’ll find the following traits repel, not attract. You’ll see them in others, but it’s most important to try and recognise them in yourself.

Tightness

Being cheap isn’t an attractive quality, even though some tightwads might think it is. Like when a cheap person gives you something they think is incredibly generous, but in actuality they’re giving you something closer to a crumb.

Tightness isn’t just about being tight with money though. It can also be about being cheap with time, effort and attention.
