As you remember, in November 2018, we have officially released Minex Web Wallet, a web-based platform that provides quick access to your funds and secure storage of crypto-assets. Since then, we have been working on the updates to the wallet, and are glad to present them to you today.

To connect the card ordered via MinexPay service, log in to the Minex Web Wallet. After you log in, all the purchased cards will appear in your profile. To activate the card, you have to replenish the account with the minimum required balance.

Another new function added with the latest release of the Minex Web Wallet is the minimum required balance replenishment. During the card activation process, you have to replenish your balance with a certain amount of Minexcoin (MNX) according to the chosen tariff plan (Standard, Gold, Platinum, or Infinite). You can find out more information about the tariff plans and respective minimum required balances here.

In the latest version of the wallet, we have also updated the function of loading and transferring your funds in Bitcoins and MinexCoins (BTC, MNX). After you fund your account in BTC (or MNX), you will be able to convert cryptocurrency into fiat money right in the application (Please note that this option will be launched until the end of January.)

For your convenience, we have created a step-by-step guide explaining the card activation and balance replenishment in the updated Minex Web Wallet.

Step 1 — Set up the card

Log in to the Minex Web Wallet and activate the card you paid for via MinexPay service.

Follow the instructions in the physical letter with your card: send a selfie with the card attached to the original sheet that also mentions your tariff plan to hello@minexsystems.com. After you get the confirmation via email, your card will appear in the Minex Web Wallet.

Step 2 — Replenish the minimum required balance (not needed for the Standard tariff plan)

To activate the card, you need to replenish the non-reducible balance, the amount depends on the tariff plan of the card.

Step 2.1

Replenish the account with the minimum required balance, the amount of which depends on your tariff plan. Do not replenish the balance over the specified amount, as the change won’t be provided.

To do so, click the “Replenish non-reducible balance” button and view the MNX address. Send MNX to this address and wait for at least 30 confirmations. After the funds are on the balance, the card will become active.

Step 3 — Receive funds to your card

Now you can replenish the card with funds you would like to spend or cash out. Click the “Receive” button.

Step 3.1

Choose the cryptocurrency that you want to receive to your MinexWallet. Please note that the minimum deposit amount is 0.01 BTC or 1 MNX. The top-up fee will be deducted from the sent amount according to the card’s tariff plan.

Share this address with others and they can send you cryptocurrency directly to your wallet.

Then click on the button “Copy address”.

Send Bitcoins to this address from your wallet and wait for the transaction to be confirmed, it may take some time with Bitcoins.

Thereafter, the received amount will be displayed on your account balance.

Step 4 — Convert crypto to fiat

(Please note that this option will be launched until the end of January)

If you want to convert your crypto into fiat and withdraw money to the card, click the “Convert” button. In the new screen, select the necessary cryptocurrency to convert and enter the required amount in EUR. The minimum amount to convert is 20 EUR. The corresponding amount in crypto will be indicated.

Click the “Convert” button again.

Step 4.1. Convert confirmation

Please check carefully and confirm all entered data.

After receiving your order it may take some time. Later your order will be processed and the required amount will be loaded to the card. Conversion fee depends on the tariff plan of the card and will be deducted from the EUR amount.

Step 5 — Send crypto to another address

Alternatively, you can send crypto from your balance to another address. To do so, click the “Send” button. Choose the cryptocurrency, then enter the address to which you want to transfer it. Enter the amount for transfer.

Step 5.1

Please check carefully the entered address — any funds transferred to the incorrect address will be lost!

Step 5.2. Sending confirmation

If you have double-checked the entered address, click the “Confirm” button.

After confirmation, the transaction may take some time. Transaction fees depend on the tariff plan of your card. Transfers between client accounts inside of MinexWallet are processed instantly and without any fees.

You can use several cards in your wallet. The dashboard of the wallet allows you getting an overview of all your cards and balances:

Click on “Transactions” in the left menu to view all the incoming and outcoming transactions. You can filter them by the currency.

Finally, you can manage the wallet’s settings such as interface currency, password and two-factor authentication in the respective section of the dashboard:

We invite you to try out the updated version of Minex Web Wallet already today. If you still haven’t ordered a card via MinexPay service, we encourage you to do so right away, as the demand is continually growing. The first cards are already shipped and are being activated by users from all over the world. You can read more about that in the previous blog post.
