Greetings friends!

Welcome to the final letter from the editors for this year…. It’s crazy how time doesn’t fly during Covid. So who’s pumped for 2022???

[cicadas chirp loudly]

Yeah, that seems to be the general vibe. Back in 2020, when the clock finally struck midnight, it marked the beginning of a new dawn and a brand new year. Alas, the coronavirus didn’t shimmer away into thin air like Cinderella’s ballgown and we were all forced to stare down another year spent in fear of an invisible enemy. The good news is: We did it! The bad news is *cough, cough* well, you know … We all know. So let’s forget about that, just for a moment, and celebrate some of the many incredible things that happened this year: China eradicated Malaria, a NASA rover produced oxygen on Mars and Mini Mailer entered the world…

Mini Mailer’s main goal was to provide a space for writers to express their love and gratitude towards anything and everything; from heartfelt letters to fictional characters to raising awareness about social issues, Mini Mailer became a home to letters of nearly a myriad of genres.

Since then, Thasanya Jayasumana and Vashni Stories have joined Mini Mailer as editors to help Mini Mailer grow stronger:

What’s Next For Mini Mailer

We have a feeling that next year is going to be different, better. We know more about coronavirus than ever before, along with a growing list of tools, from boosters to at-home pills, that can protect our most vulnerable and eventually, it that must not be named will transition into an endemic virus and we can go back to talking about all the things we talked about before Covid, like…yeah, we forget too.

Stay safe and enjoy the festivities (at a distance). We wish you a joyful new year filled with health, wealth, happiness and success!

Lots of love,
Thasanya, Vidya and Vashni

P.S. Just a suggestion, but maybe wash your hands after reading this? Safety first.
