Hello Learners and Welcome Back!

Have you ever been in trouble by trying to manage a huge amount of data? Have you ever wanted to get rid of Excel and automate all the boring stuff?

Luckily, somebody is here to lend you a hand! Our hero is not Po from Kung Fu Panda but rather Pandas, the canonical library for data structures in Python.

You already had a little taste of Pandas in the previous article, but here we would like to go in-depth and take you to the next level: Machine Learning.

Take your time to go trough this set of notebooks, these contents are very important. In fact, being able to manipulate your data is the very first step for creating a successful model.

Let’s make a quick recap of what we have learned so far:

  • Chapter 1: Python3 and IPython
  • Chapter 2 and 2.1: data handling and visualization + Pandas in-depth
  • Chapter 3: Numpy, Scipy and Matplotlib in detail
  • Chapter 4: the next level

Now that we’ve completely covered scientific programming we’re almost ready to reach the rooftop and dive into Machine Learning.

Have fun!

Simone, MLJC
