Based in Barcelona, Moebio is ranked as one of the top accelerators in Europe and it brings together different training programs to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in healthcare. Moebio is an initiative of Biocat, the organization that champions the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem in Catalonia, one of the top 5 bioregions in Europe. Moebio has 2 flagship program. Design Health Barcelona (d·HEALTH Barcelona) is a 9-month postgraduate program inspired in Stanford University's Biodesign Fellowship, to turn graduates and professionals into healthcare entrepreneurs and innovators: participants join multidisciplinary teams and experience a full cycle of innovation, from needs identification through clinical immersion in top-level hospitals to designing and prototyping a viable solution and business model development. Another flagship program is CRAASH Barcelona, a 12-week program that helps European research teams launch successful device, diagnostic and e-/digital health innovations to improve health and patient care through mentoring from CIMIT (Boston). Moebio is supported by EIT Health, the main health consortium in Europe.
