MONØMANIA needs your black & white everything —

  1. from general portfolios to special photo projects,
  2. from photo books to self-published zines,
  3. from completed photo essays to ongoing personal projects,
  4. from photographers who write to writers who photograph,
  5. from your very perspective to our viewers & readers worldwide.

We are looking for two kinds of original content:

A) Special content from regular contributors, meaning:

  1. you get to do artist interviews, write book reviews, attend exhibitions, and cover photography events,
  2. you get to be *compensated,
  3. and you get to be part of our team, instill your voice both as an image-maker and a wordsmith, and also get you@monomania.love email address.

Email erin@monomania.love with the subject, “Contributor” and the ff:

  • Your Name – City, Country
  • Your short biography, with focus on your photography and/or writing
  • 3 to 5 story pitches for MONØMANIA

*Compensation depends on the contributors’ country of residence. MONØMANIA runs on Medium.com, where writers can directly earn money from their stories if enrolled in their Partner Program. But being so requires a Stripe account and taxpayer information. More about this here.

B) General submissions from anyone, anywhere, meaning:

  1. you get to submit your work and we feature your work for free,
  2. you get to share your work to our viewers, readers, and followers across the world,
  3. you get to be part of the thriving and timeless black & white community of photography.

Email erin@monomania.love with the subject, “Submission” and the ff:

  • Your Name – City, Country
  • Your short biography
  • A short write-up about the work you’re submitting
  • 6 to 10 images, 1500px width

There’s no deadline.

Because MONØMANIA constantly needs fresh content! But the sooner you contact us, the sooner your chance to be featured. And if all else follows, we might just be part of this year’s Tokyo Art Book Fair in November. We will be brewing surprises for that – and you might just be a huge part of it.

This call-out post has a more detailed version here.

Love,
MONØMANIA Team
