Quest 3: Locate the Mooncrystals

The Moonscientists had completed the infrastructure to connect the universe. The technology would harness the power of moonbeams to enable teleportation to the Mooncity, if only it had enough power. The Mooncrystals must be located and recovered, charged, ignited, and utilized.
To find the Ancients, and thereby, the Mooncrystals, the Moonwarriors needed to explore the community. They began by establishing a timeline of events with the names of community members that could direct them to the items they sought. (See Question 1)
Next, the Moonwarriors decided the best course of action was to ask the gods for insight. They went to the Kusama tree near the center of the Moonriver Valley (where the veil was thinnest) and called out to them. One Kusama nested in the tree opened its eyes. (See Question 2)
The warriors looked beyond the Kusama tree and saw what appeared to be ghosts rising from the earth. They moved toward the specters. A few Moonriver Champions ran out ahead of the crowd, but though they were moving forward, did not seem to get any closer to the ghosts.
“We need the Moonstone,” suggested one warrior.
He was unsure how he knew this, but when he said it aloud the swiftest warrior ran to the Moonscientists and took the stone, promising to return it. The swift warrior could feel the Moonstone’s energy increasing as he returned and approached his comrades in the field of ghosts. The stone began to glow.
The Kusama bird nodded to him as he ran past the tree.
Once with his friends, the Moonstone ignited. The closest warriors gathered around to place their hands on the Moonstone, and it began to hum, glowing stronger with the touch of each additional hand. The ghosts in the field seemed to hear the sound and drifted toward the stone as if it were magnetic.
In a split second, the Moonstone, charged with the warriors’ spirits, absorbed the ghosts and projected a hologram around the Moonwarriors. They stared in awe as they watched the history of their people unfold before them.
In the hologram was a constellation of people that the Moonwarriors presumed to be the ancients. After a moment of observation, the images faded and the warriors, save one, dropped their hands from the stone in stunned silence.
“I recognized one of the people in the hologram,” said the swift Moonwarrior.
Without a word he turned and set off to the home of The Ancient he had identified. (See Question 3)

- Locate the Featured Speakers for Illuminate/22 on the Hopin registration page. Write down the FIRST NAMES of all the speakers identified as “Co-Founder.”
Quest Preview (Repost from last week)
Quest 3 is open to everyone, whether or not they hold the Quest 1 or 2 NFTs. Everyone who completes the Quest 3 Google Form in the allotted time will receive the Quest 3 NFT. Holding the Quest Trifecta (Quest 1,2, and 3 NFTs) will receive a special bonus.
The Quest 3 Google Form will be released on Monday, November 7th, and the contest will close 12 hours after Derek Yoo’s opening speech at Illuminate. Wallet addresses submitted on these forms will be airdropped the Quest 3 NFT. More information to come.
In anticipation of Moonbeam Illuminate week, the first sets of clues will be released BEFORE November 7th.
- Register for Illuminate and be sure to attend Derek’s talk on Nov 10th
- It is advisable that you collect the Mooncrystals as they are revealed (instead of waiting for the Google form) so that you do not miss the deadline.
