Rachel and Emily have been friends for 16 years. As students at Oxford they bonded over a shared love of dusty books, hatred for various literary treasures, and hydrogenated fats. With a friendship forged through relentless academic study and frequent naps in world-class libraries, they have since held each other’s hand through first jobs, relationships and now, motherhood. Rachel has three children aged eight, six and two, and Emily is new to the parenting game with a baby aged 11 months.
