🛥 Product Update: A new way to initiate a reference

We’ve made changes to how you request a reference from a tenant on Movem.

We listen, and something that has been requested often by our users is the ability to see where each tenant is in the process of their reference.

With that in mind, we’ve enhanced how you start a reference, and built traceability into it’s core.

Your agency specific link is no longer active — every tenant needs to be invited using the new system.

What you need to know:

• You can invite a tenant to complete a reference from your dashboard. Simply enter their name, email address and optionally tag a property.
• The tenant will be sent an email containing a unique magic link which allows them to complete their reference.
• You can see a realtime summary in the dashboard of where each tenant is in the process.
• Quickly find the tenant you’re looking for by filtering by status, name or property.
• You will be deducted one credit when you send an invite, if you cancel the invite you are refunded one credit automatically.

We primarily removed the ‘agency static link’ because it wasn’t secure enough. If anybody found your link, they could reference themselves and you’d be charged. This never happened to us, but we were aware of the risk, and it needed fixing.

Decision Scorecard is now enabled for your account.

This new feature allows you to configure your own custom criteria for what is counted as a pass or a fail. You can read more about this feature here.

• You can customise your Decision Scorecard rules here.
• There are three outcomes for each reference: Pass, Fail and Action Required.
• If a reference is flagged as Action Required, you will be able to manually Pass or Fail the tenant.
