The last two months was a period of integrations and partnerships for Muon. Let’s explore how we’ve been working to expand Pion’s capabilities, and form new partnerships over the last two months.

Muon Ecosystem Updates

Besides $PION halving event and the ongoing work on the AI platform, Pion network and Muon core went through several upgrades over the last month.

New Partners Using Pion on New Chains

Pion (Powered by Muon) is an intrinsically chain-independent DON (Decentralized Network of Nodes) and can easily be used by dapps on different chains. Over the last two months, the Muon client libraries have been deployed on three new chains:

  • ZKsync: the zero knowledge L2 protocol
  • Base: an L2 blockchain built on OP Stack
  • Blast: an L2 blockchain

These were deployed at the request of three new partners who have deployed their MuonApps on the Pion network and are testing them. We will soon share more info about these three new partners.

Through our partner DeRand, we also made integrations with Linea, and Scroll — both zkEVM L2 protocols — as well as XDC, an EVM-compatible blockchain designed for finance trading and tokenization of Real World Assets (RWA).

Core Update

Muon devs successfully implemented a new feature to support the verification of Falcon Signatures, a post-quantum cryptography security solution. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) refers to the development of cryptographic algorithms that are secured against attacks by quantum computers.

Improved Performance

To make Pion fee structures more customizable, Pion frontend libraries have been updated With the new update, both dapps and end users can pay request fees. In addition, we have used data analysis from Pion and enhanced our network monitoring.

Partner Updates

Thena’s ALPHA DEX Levelled Up

Our partners at THENA, the intent-based decentralized derivatives exchange, made a major update called THENA ALPHA. The new version, powered by IntentX, Orbs, and SYMMIO, is now live on BNB Smart Chain and soon on opBNB, BNB’s high-performance optimistic layer-2 solution. See more info.

SYMMIO Welcomes Befi Labs & Pear Protocol

Our long-term partners at SYMMIO have made two new partners. They have welcomed Befi Labs — the BRC20 runes and ordinals trading terminal — to their ecosystem. See more info. They have also introduced Pair Protocole as their next partner.

They also ran a community contest with $10,000 for grabs! See the details.

Over the last months, we have been focusing on Pion’s growth through making new partnerships. Stay tuned for more updates.

Pion is the Muon ecosystem’s Canary and first mainnet. It is a chain-independent and stateless DON (Decentralized Oracle Network) that enables dApps to make their off-chain components decentralized. By incorporating Pion (by Muon), the manner in which decentralized applications store, process, and access data will be fundamentally transformed.

Run a Pion node.
