5 Planets in a Line to be Visible Tonight!
Brace yourselves for the biggest event of 2023 yet!
That’s right! Five planets are expected to be beautifully aligned tonight (28th March 2023) just after sunset, and only for a brief moment. This is called the Planetary Parade of Alignment.
Mars, Venus, Uranus, Mercury and Jupiter are to be aligned in a magnificent decoration, right below the moon. This is expected to occur between 7:19 to 7:40pm, after which Jupiter and Mercury are expected to set below the horizon. You don’t even need to do any star hopping to see this. Just find the moon in the west. Beside the Moon, you should be able to see Mars. And then just keep looking down the same line. It is that decorated!
And this is not some photo from mountains or some far off place. This is a simulation for cosmic bodies with less than 3 magnitude, which means these objects are visible from even a light-polluted city! I live in Karachi, and I am expecting to witness this event. Yesterday this was seen in London and various other parts of the world. Just 4 days ago, a city destroyer asteroid almost crashed into us (More on that here). What a crazy week!
