Day 5 — The Birthday Party
Yesterday’s morning weigh-in: 236.3
Today: 235.7!
The breakfast started off pretty similar to yesterdays: eggs, bread, and orange.
Celebrations
We were invited to a birthday bash at a local park for a 1-year birthday party. We had a ton of fun and thankfully not a ton of food. It was BYOF(ood). I slapped a chicken breast on the Forman grill and sliced it up for easy eating. Sliced up a cucumber and threw a half-piece of bread into the bag.
Cupcakes were incredibly-amazing. Or so I was told. I resisted the urge to dive headfirst into a vanilla frosting and color sprinkle cupcake and kept picking at my chicken and cucumber.
Party!
Dinner was pretty simple at home. So in sum:
Breakfast
1 Egg
1 half-piece of bread (40 calories)
1 half orange
Lunch
6oz cooked/cut chicken breast in tin foil wrapper
1 cucumber, yes an entire sliced cucumber
1 half-piece bread
Afternoon
1 Apple
Dinner
6oz cooked chicken
1 cup asparagas
1 half-piece bread
Could Have Eaten
1+ Cupcakes
Plenty of fun stuff around the house
Popcorn during movie night (Nebraska — It was slow but good)
Feeling
Feeling somewhat hungry at the end of the day, which makes sense. I’m used to eating as soon as I feel a tinge of hunger. I need to make sure I’m drinking more water.
Tomorrow is Sunday, without a doubt I’ll be praying about all this.
